Meet the Dogs

You must be wondering who all lives here at the farm, so I figured I'd take you on a little animal tour!

Mack and Penny are our dogs. Mack is a 7 year old red heeler and Penny is a 2 year old yellow lab (probably mixed with something). I got Mack as a 12 week old puppy when Shawn and I were dating. He's been my constant companion ever since. His favorite activities include going on walks, playing fetch, and barking at people. Oh, and herding anything and everything on legs. He's a definite mamma's boy and will bite the crap out of basically anyone he deems threatening.

Penny is our little love bug that never quite stopped growing. While a great protector and livestock guardian, she is also the snuggliest girl when she's inside with us. We got her from a local rescue organization as an 8 week old puppy. While we know that her mom was a lab, we have no idea what the rest of her geneology is. She loves to be outside no matter the weather. She'll lay out in the grass for hours, hanging out with her donkeys and horse. Her favorite things are running laps around the property and stealing her brother's toys.

Oh, and yeah. We're those people that let our dogs on the furniture. If you love animals, make sure you hang around to meet the rest of the farm!
